What is Counselling?

Counselling is a way of working with people, in a safe and confidential setting, to help clarify thoughts and feelings, to help you make choices and reach decisions. It can also be an opportunity to talk through anything that may be troubling you at the moment.

Confidentiality

As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, our counsellors work within their code and ethics and boundaries regarding confidentiality.

What is a Humanistic Counsellor?

A Humanistic Counsellor works to help you explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours, to help you make choices and take responsability in your life. The work emphasizes the ability of people to develop their own potential and personal growth.

Structure of each session

Each session will last for 55 minutes, ususally at the same set time each week, unless your circumstances require more flexible counselling.

Anyone who feels they need some help and support in their life at the moment.
