Allergy Testing Explained
Bio-Energetic Responsing is the method employed by our tester Samantha Thompson. This involves the patient being placed in circuit with a small unit that measures the bodies ability to resist substances. The patient holds an electrode in one hand and a probe is placed on an acu-pressure point of the other hand. It is completely painless and the results are instant.
What does the test involve?
A full medical history will be taken initially in order to establish how the body is functioning as a whole with the digestive system at its core. The test of over 100 foods and 50 environmental substances is then carried out by placing the allergens in the testing unit and readings being taken. The results are then compiled into an elimination programme for the patient to follow for approximately 8 weeks. Supplements may be prescribed at this juncture to try and correct the digestive imbalances that are causing the intolerences in the first place. At the 8 week mark a retest is performed to establish as to whether there are any allergens or intolerences that can be re-introduced.
The inital test takes approximately an hour and costs £55.00, the retest takes half an hour and costs £30.00.
