Natural and Effective Treatment for a Variety of Conditions

What is Hypnosis and how does it work?

Hypnosis is a natural state of consciousness we all experience daily. Similar to day dreaming, or the relaxed feeling you experience as you awaken from a restful night's sleep. In this relaxed state, whilst your conscious mind is fully aware of what is going on, your subconsicous mind has the ability to accept positive, beneficial suggestions given by the hypnotherapist.

Hypnosis is a natural and effective way of accessing the inner (unconscious) self, a source of many of our problems, as well as a tremendous resource of unrecognised potential, strength and knowledge.

Will I be in control?

Nobody can ever be hypnotised against their will and even when hypnotised, people can still reject any of the suggestions given if they are not appropriate.

Who can be helped?

It is estimated that approximately 85% of people of all age groups will readily respond to clinical hypnotherapy. It is often successful when other more conventional treatments have failed.

What does treatment involve?

The number of consultations required depends on the nature of the particular problem.

Often, in the breaking of a smoking habit, for example, a single session will be sufficient. Whereas other, more lifelong problems, may need a series of consultations.

The first consultation lasts for about one and a half hours. Subsequent consultations last approximately one hour.
